He was the devoted son of the late Salvatore "Sam" and Calogera "Carrie"; dear youngest brother of the late Gus (late Iris); Mary Mancari (late Cornelius) and the late Norm (Bev); Uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Joe was respected for his work as an accountant with Stelco for many years and he was a long-time member of the ltalo-Canadian Recreation Club. He loved music, especially Old Blue Eyes, watching old movies, reading, smoking a good cigar and drinking his single malt Scotch.
Joe will be fondly remembered at a Memorial Mass at Regina Mundi Catholic Church on Wednesday, December 20 , 2017 at 10 a.m. Fellowship to follow in the Church hall. Cremation has taken place. A special thank you to the staff of ldlewyld Manor, especially Spruceview, for many years of kindness and care. In lieu of flowers a good deed for an elderly or infirm person would be appreciated.
