 BATT, Robert Charles Passed away peacefully at Burloak Long Term Care, Burlington, on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at the age of 83. Bob Batt, beloved husband of Beryl Batt (nee Balch). Dear father of Lisa Marsden (Geoffrey), Karen Batt-Sherratt (Edward) and Tracey Batt-Watson (Peter). Cherished grandfather of Nicole, Kaila, Madisen, Andrew and Olivia. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Bob had worked for many years at the Stelco Research Centre in Burlington. The family would like to thank the staff and nurses at Burloak Long Term Care, the Red Cross and the CCAC for the compassionate care they provided. A Service of Remembrance will take place at  SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME , 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 2 p.m. A reception at the funeral home will follow the service. Private cremation has taken place. As an expression of sympathy, donations made to the Parkinson's Society or the Burloak Resident's Council Fund, would be greatly appreciated.
