STIPANITZ, George
George Stipanitz in his 92nd year passed away on October 22, 2013. Dearly loved by wife Gertrude and sons, Georgie ('45), Paul ('08) (Rose) and Nick (Sandra). George was born in Bratislava in the former Czechoslovakia where he studied chemical engineering before moving to Hamilton with his wife 70 years ago. A husband, devoted and always close to his wife. A father, admired by his sons, who inspired them to achieve. He will be remembered fondly by those lives he touched, co-workers, friends and neighbours. A special thanks to Shalom Village who provided a peaceful setting for his departure with close family at his side to see him on. A memorial mass will be held at 11:30 a.m., Friday, November 1st at Canadian Martyrs Parish, 38 Emerson Street, Hamilton followed by a 12:30 p.m. reception lunch at Marlatt Funeral Home , 195 King Street West, Dundas. In lieu of flowers, consider giving to George's favourite charity, The Good Sheppard.

Tony was an employee of Canadian
Engineering who spent considerable time working for R&D, mostly in the
pilot plant area.
Visitation will be held at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James) on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers Friday at 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Canadian Martyrs Parish on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 9 a.m. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington.

George Stipanitz
George died this week and his funeral is set for Friday, Nov. 1.
The reception will be held at 12:30 at the Marlatt Funeral Home in Dundas. The funeral service will take place earlier at 11:30am in St. Martyrs Catholic Church.
His obit will appear in the Hamilton Spectator tomorrow. ( Please check, just in case I failed to record the info correctly.)
